PURINA VETERINARY DIETS HA is a complete hypoallergenic veterinarydiet for the diagnosis and management of food allergies in dogs ofall ages, including puppies. Some dogs may suffer from foodallergy, which can cause skin discomfort and/or digestive upsets.PVD HA is a true hypoallergenic diet formulated with a singleprotein and carbohydrate source and, in addition, the protein hasbeen broken down (hydrolysed) into very tiny components that aretoo small to cause an allergic reaction,. Such hydrolysed diets arerecognised as the best type of food to use during an 'eliminationdiet trial' when trying to diagnose (or rule out) food allergy.During such a trial it is important that your dog is fed no otherfood or treats. PVD HA is also useful for dogs with severe boweldisease such as IBD as it is particularly highly digestible.
